I am looking for an occupational therapy evaluation for my child. Is this something you provide?

Yes! We travel to your home or your child’s school for evaluations and treatment.  Areas of support include: emotional regulation, sensory processing, self-care skills, feeding, fine and visual motor skills, motor coordination, and social participation. Please reach out if you have any questions regarding your child’s development! 

How long are sessions?

OT sessions are typically 45 or 60 minutes long. The length of your child’s OT sessions is based on your child’s goals. 

What payment is accepted?

Building Blocks Therapy LLC is private pay. We will provide a super bill, so you may seek reimbursement from your insurance company. Read more about super bills here. 

Payment is due at the time of service. 

Is a screening the same thing as an evaluation?

No, a screening and an evaluation are different. A screening is a quick check to see if your child should be referred for a full occupational therapy evaluation.  A full evaluation is needed to thoroughly assess your child’s development and create goals for treatment. 

Where do sessions take place? 

We travel to you for occupational therapy! Therapy is offered conveniently in your home or your child’s school.
